Currently, many residents don’t even know about these plans. Reach out to those you know in the Village and explain your opposition to the plan. Ask them to also call or email City Council members and attend public meetings on the topic.

Tower by CHV Elementary

The first proposed 100' tower is located by Cherry Hills Elementary School, on Quincy and University, just a stones throw across the street from the elementary school. Many communities have banned cell towers from around their schools. Research has shown that children are even more susceptible to health issues caused by RF transmission from cell towers (see here). This tower is also within 500 feet of St. Mary's Schools on University. Cherry Hills Country Club will also have a direct view of the tower from the 17th and 18th holes and from the new clubhouse.
